Just wondering if i'm the only one in Volnation that watches this show. Surely i'm not the only one. I absolutely love this show yall. I'm not much of a TV guy and i make time in my schedule just to watch this show. Acting is good i think, characters are well developed and the football aspect of it draws me in like you wouldnt believe.

Season finale is next week and NBC might cancel it. Just wondering if anyone else watches and what you thought if you do watch.

Yeah, unabashed watcher, although we need more hitting, less storyline action! ;)

It really has a bad time slot- Wednesday at 7 PM.

Doesnt help that NBC is not putting it out there like they are with other shows...i've seen more commercials for 'are you smarter than a 5th grader' than FNLs!

My wife and I both really enjoy Firday Night Lights. The characters are absolutely hilarious. I think that they have a great show, but I worry about the long-term viability of a show that focuses on high-school kids...and a coach whose daughter is already in highschool and involved with all the other characters so much (as well as the parents of other highschoolers being so important). I don't see how the show makes it for several years.

It actually kind of reminds me of the show Ed. I loved it. But, in season one, my roomate asked me...how are they going to continue this show....everything is built around the angst of him not getting the girl and trying to get the girl...how long can they string that out? Well...it proved that they couldn't too long and as soon as he got the girl, the show ended.

It is a night time simple soap opera that deals with HS football. Love, sex, friendship and betrayel. Every once in a while they show football.

That being said. Yes, I watch it.

Surprisingly great show. I was expecting Dawson's Creek 2, but the storylines are very realistic and don't feature 10th graders talking like they attend Oxford University. But here are the real reasons to watch:

Any show that tries to capture HS kids by using actors over the age of 18 is worthless IMO

Just kidding I've never seen it

This HS is in one the neighboring towns down here. I've seen it a few times, only when I'm passing it in the channels, though.

I like the movie. But I watched the first episode of the TV show and saw Mack Brown's face plastered all over my set. Haven't watched another installment.

It's not a great "football" show but as far as overall show it's pretty good.....did I mention it has some really fine looking girls in it :)
