Very hard for the band to maintain a constant vibe due to constant personnel changes. Every band member but Fripp left the group after that lp was released, and there were constant changes after almost every lp the band released. Some, including Fripp himself, would leave and return periodically, but hard to maintain a particular style when there is a revolving door. But you are correct; they never put out anything again close to TCotCK, IMO.

Had he said as much, I would agree. But he said "likely" it is coach speak, which indicates to me that he really doesn't know for sure. ergo, I think he is guessing. But no biggie.

This horse has been badly beaten. But, I believe our deep passing game suffered last year due in large part to the fact we had no real speed burners. Dobbs aint Tom Brady, our OL was average, and our WRs had a load of injuries ... but we need elite speed badly.

Malone & Jenning are decently fast
North was just avg for a WR it seemed
Pearson proved slow at the combine
Williams has it, but could stay 100% healthy

... still adding Johnson, Williams2, Byrd and Callaway could be an important speed boost for us. Defenses were not afraid of us getting behind them last year.

I would agree with that, for the most part. For instance, it would be great to have landed Mecole. But there are always those guys with character/discipline issues such as Tyrie Cleveland. Those are the times where a 3-star with a good attitude who buys into the system is much better IMO

And you do know that these 5* recruits that we are missing on also haven't done anything in an actual game yet. So let's wait until they do something before we cry about missing out on them.

The sleeper is brandon johnson...i cant compare him to byrd nor callaway they are different wideouts..byrd and callaway will be in slot..it is to early i dont want to crown my nephew just yet, but the kid the truth..byrd is that deal man i saw his film the kid is the most athletic of the group..brandon have that aj green feel to him..brandon played against some of the best corners in the country in miami weekend and week out..the corners he face in practice..they have two 5star corners at his high school..pat surtain son and marco wilson, his brother played for the gators..damn i cant wait to football start.. The month of august goint to go by so slow..go vols!!!

Because JRM wouldn't knock them down a peg or two if they got cocky and egotistical....

I'm sure he's watching them work just so he can keep them in check.
