If I were French I probably would have voted for Fillon but his scandals really ended his hopes now I'd probably lean to voting for Le Pen to be honest. I think she wins the firs round but I don't see her winning the 2nd round in May. I think her best shot in the run-off is if Mélenchon some gets to second today.

Has France ever had a female President? If not and the one running doesn't win France is full of hateful misogynistic a-holes..

As for who I think will win I'm going with the centrist Macron. He supports a German styled immigration policy for France.

Bur, I like you and respect you, but I think you're a fundamentally different poster than you used to be. Your avatar speaks for itself, and I think the day will come when you regret it.

How this madman has gotten to you, Piglet, and Grand Vol, who were otherwise reasonable posters, I have not a clue, but it happened. Since he came along, you guys have seemingly done 180s on what used to be considered keys to US national security.

Hopefully at least one of you eventually sees the light. The joevols and Frank Pierceses of the world, I can tolerate. They're idiots. But when good people go, it alarms me.

I'm going with Le Pen.

This wave of Kremlin self-destruction isn't over yet. It started with disastrous immigration policies by the left, and it will end with disastrous foreign policies by the right.

And the circle will be complete, and the snake will have eaten its own tail.

I said I would only vote for her if Fillon hadn't self-destructed. The only policy plank I actually support is her stance on is immigration. The rest she is actually pretty liberal on. If I were French I would not vote for Macron, who supports unlimited immigration, nor would I ever vote for an open communist in Mélenchon. Fillon was the only sane one of the bunch but due to his corruption he doomed France's future.

Macron is going to wipe the floor with her it will be a miracle if she keeps him under 60%. The other parties will endorse him in a bid to stop the National Front, they've done it in every election.

I wish I had as much optimism as you, although you're not pulling for the guy.

But I don't count out Kremlinism yet.

Once the FBI/DOJ/NY AG backlash comes, maybe. But not yet.
