Here is a question I have for all who know bb. Is our team really bad or do we have a couple starters who are bad that bring our % down. The same question for Memphis.
Memphis starting 5 are horrible at shooting FT's. Dozier is their best at 70%. Dorsey is their worst at 33%. When the game is on the line, Lofton and JaJuan will get the ball to shoot our FT's. Those 2 are very solid at 86% and 76%. Tyler is a good ft shooter at 72%. They have not had to prove that they can win a ballgame by hitting ft's in the last minute of a ballgame.
Ramar has also become a decent ft shooter. If you take out the 12 misses in the PV game, then he's hitting 71%.

They also missed 6 in a row before making that one, I believe....very lucky to win that game I might add, but I'm glad you did!!!
I think the game will be decided by the simple free throw!VOLS 83-80.:dance2:Talk to me now or at 10pm.![]()
Maybe , if yall can rebound like you've done in the last few game ! But if you don't , then the rebounds will offset what few points you are rewarded by making a little higher % from the free throw lineUT is good enough that giving them 10pts from the FT line will lead to a Memphis St loss. UAB wasn't
6% points difference in the 2 teams could be enough to be a game changer....so, yes it could be the deciding factor
Not me! I'm from Brownsville (Haywood Co.) and since age 5 I have always routed for the Vols in both football and basketball. At age 45 I still bleed orange!Yeah Tom they were lucky , but at the end they were just plain good ! Thanks , the win made tonight unchartered water for these two teams . My wife came back from wal mart earlier and said it was full of people with tiger gear on ( unreal ) ! Dyersburg and Newbern are usually colored in orange but with this game , it looks like the tigers are gaining some fans .
