It's far from a sports show Freak. It's a pretty funny talk show that is based up north somewhere I beleve. They were based in Nashville at one time I think. They are pretty much polar opposites of Rick and Bubba if you ever listen to them. Having listened to FB&HW before, I would be a bit nervous about what they had to say about this.

It's kind of along the line of Jim Bob & Billy (or whatever it's called).

I don't listen to either show as I don't think their either one is funny.

I have tried listening to the shows, but it's been a while.
Do I remember the EXACT name of it? No. Do I really give a s*** what the name of the show is? NO!!

Free Beer & Hot Wings is nothing like John Boy and Billy or any of the harley and hooters radio shows.

Actually they were in Knoxville for a while, not Nashville. They've talked about the Vols some over the year, and on air they gave congrats to Pearl and Vols when they won the SEC outright 2 years ago.

Definitely not.

I switched from JB&B to FBHW when they came to 102.9. On some of the days they have Best of shows I've tried to go back and listen to JB&B and I just can't do it.

True story I found an old cassette tape at my parents last Thanksgiving and took it home. I put it in my last working cassette player and it was about 2 hours worth of a JB&B show from May 1998. I listened to it and then the next Monday I listened to an hour of JB&B and aside from some of the current references in the 1998 show, you really couldn't tell each show was 10 years apart. The same type skits, same games, same songs played....made me realize just how stale JB&B has become.

John Boy & Billy make me want to vomit, same with Rick & Bubba and Bob & Tom. I had given up trying to find something that wasn't political or music and was just listening to CD's on the drive to work in the mornings when I found FB&HW. First time I EVER laughed at something on the radio, and it happens weekly now. The dudes crack me up.

FB&HW all used to live in Knoxville. I know for a fact Free Beer is a huge Vol fan, himself. Back in 2007 me and him sat on 2nd ave (in what used to be Eddie George's) and watched Tennessee hand Georgia their asses...

FB&HW Rocks!!!!! Listen to them EVERY morning......was kind of bummed when they replaced Bob & Tom. I am glad they did now. Awesome morning show!
