I was fixing to come on here and name all the recruiting commitments and transfers we’ve gotten. Personally, I love what’s happening in cfb. For the first time in forever it feels like we legitimately have a chance at any player. For the last decade they’ve all been bama’s to lose. That’s due to Saban’s pitch about $$.He tells the kids statistically they have the best chance at making money with bama.
But now that schools can help the kids make $ (and do it immediately) it’s just a whole new game. No wonder the Sabans and sweeneys hate it. Sabin has played every game in his tenure with a massive talent advantage over everyone else. It’ll be interesting to see over the next five years should the talent get more evenly distributed throughout the SEC where he ends up. I think a guy like huepel (that’s an offensive guru) would win more times than not againt a “drill sergeant type coach” like Saban with equal talent. Maybe we’ll get to find out.

Hope springs eternal.
