*****Freak's Thursday before South Carolina, admittedly off topic thread

I grew up gaming, pretty much quit when EA canceled College Football. Always liked the FIFA game and the downtown racing games, I was always a playstation player, started on Pong then Atari, guess I've had all the old consoles except XBox, I always hated that controller.

I'm in Alabama as well unfortunately.... from the East Tennessee mountains though thank goodness lol

Pong, then Magnavox Odyssey for me.... then Sega Genesis .... I'm like "it dont Get no Better than THIS!!" College football was the only game I'd rush to get on its Release day..... Loved it!

Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a sunroom. I really miss being on my screened porch in the winter. Then again, sometimes I like to feel the breeze and smell the air. Do you live in Tennessee now?
Yeah, out here in Clarksville. Not exactly excited to be moving to TX but I'm ready to get out of this city.

A post earlier this week said there was possible scattered thunderstorms. If the game is in rain, which team has the advantage?

TX is cool to visit, just not sure how I'll feel about living there. That's where the army decided to send us. I'm hoping we draw CO or WA next. Bring me wildlife and the outdoors.

What part of Texas? I spent 5 years in San Antonio, and LOVED it!

I'm not sure what you're asking exactly, but the SEC already has deals with the networks for television rights. The last time I looked the CBS deal was something like $50 million annually and the ESPN deal was $300 million.
Basically, I was asking if regular channels can do pay-per-view snd share revenue with Universities. It’s a very out of the box thought that may not even be technologically possible.

So who do y'all think the defense will miss the most.. Taylor, Bituli or Warrior?

I watched @Freak replay of the SC game from last year.. They all 3 had a good game. I'm excited for Saturday!
My guess is Bituli. SC from what I've read doesn't seem to have a good air game. But, what do I know? I'm the guy that got fired as the defense coordinator in the peewee league. Sal led me astray with that 3-4 stuff.
👎👎👎👎👎

Where are you headed to ... in TX ... if I may ask. OOOPS ... say it was WACO.
Born in Fort Worth, lived in Garland, Denton, and out in the country.
Texas born, but Tennessee faithful.
Got two brothers who graduated from UTK, and tons of memories.
Sold cokes a couple of years ... just to watch the games. Did not make much money, but got to watch a lot of football for free ... IN NEYLAND!

El Paso. Expecting a culture shock lol

As a vol fan living in Columbia, there is nothing more satisfying than Brice Thompson in the video unavailing choice if uni. Love it.

For me, it will be yard work, which I don't mind, then a round of golf and come in just in time for dinner (Lasagna gets the start, if we lose, it won't see the field again!) and to see the Kickoff!! (I'm a little hyperactive)

We have a socially distant swim meet that morning which will involve my two girls freezing between races in the parking lot. fun times. I think we might make some chili Mac after and settle in for the game. Nothing fancy, but man, I’m ready to see the Vols play. It’s been a heck of a year.

Southern Middle Tn, close to the Alabama line. Played golf for 43 years off and on, used to be decent, not so much this year. We play pretty often. It's gotten so bad this summer I've gone to the Moe Norman single plane swing mechanics if there are any golfers out there that know what I'm referring too. I played a couple of seasons at Martin Methodist College when it was a JUCO way back in the late 80s. Rumor is that Martin Methodist in Pulaski is about to become the 4th branch of the University of Tennessee, lots of excitment over that.

UT Martin Squared?

The best thing about Pulaski is the Diet Sundrop and the hunting. Lot's of good Giles County memories over the years.

Rumor on the name is UT-South, not sure I like that name but UT-Pulaski doesn't jump out either. Old Charter and Sundrop is still the #1 drink around here!
