Ya know, maybe I’m just blessed, actually I know that I am, but our girls have never given us any trouble. My oldest is in nursing school and competing in the Miss Arkansas pageant next year as she did last year (COVID killed this year’s) and my other is a freshman in college and is just the sweetest person you would ever want to meet. My son? Well,....he’s a good boy, good athlete and treats others well, but he’s more of a challenge I have to admit. But he’s my bud and always will be. Nothing like family to make a man feel like he’s doing what he was born to do.

I had plans to attend this game this fall at it's normal time around Halloween. Get some good 'que with mustard based sauce and tailgate heartily.

Then this stupid COVID comes along and leaves me stranded on the wrong side of the Mississippi.

It's sad to think that the strains of Clarence Carter's greatest hits will not float about at the SC fairgrounds this time around.

Poor fairgrounds, poor Clarence, poor me.

Let's not have any more pandemics!

Don't think Sankey is gonna allow Mays to play. He has the SEC rule to fall back on, but in this pandemic year I think he could make some exceptions. Imagine playing for a University your dad is suing. There would be some awkward moments throughout the year. If he were transferring to a school where his family didn't live I could understand saying no, but Cade's family is from Knoxville. He might feel safer from the virus around his family, and them not having to travel to see him play, That is if Ga would let his family, who is in the process of suing them, have some of the 20% capacity tickets . I've disagreed with Sankey about a few things but this one seems like a no brainer.

I've played with a guy that's played Moe's way for many years....He's 77 and plays pretty good. I've watched hours of Moe Norman's videos over the years....Moe was something else. I've worked on the the Moe swing over the years at the range but never really taken it to the course much. I'm 65 and play to a 8 handicap so I've just stuck with my swing....I've gone to a more senior friendly swing that's not has hard on the joints....back...knees...hips.

I miss the simplistic, fun as hell, flash games that used to be on this website! Many of hours wasted/maximized there.

I tend to stick to MLB20 on the PS4 - will only upgrade to the PS5 if EA releases another NCAA Game.

BTW, how am I considered a ‘new’ member? Probs because I‘ve only posted 4 times in 14 years, ha ha.

I’ve never played a ton of MLB The Show, but I’ve dabbled in it a couple of years. Of course I had to create Tennessee jerseys that matched our baseball team. That was enjoyable. I know a lot of people are excited the game is coming to Xbox next year.

By the way, four posts in 16 years is unacceptable! Post more often! Seriously, I’m glad my thread lured you out.

Dang, a little early isn't it Freak? Jk, I'm excited about Saturday but i haven't really read or heard anything about the team, I have no idea what to expect really.

Tonight I'm watching the Braves (if they get to play) and the Dolphins/Jags while i recover from eating the "One Chip Challenge" today.

I don't play video games too much anymore really so I'll wait on getting a PS5 until they stop making games for PS4.

What’s the One Chip Challenge?

It was good to see the Braves clinch this week. Unfortunately I don’t have high hopes for the playoffs. Maybe they’ll surprise me.

I don’t know where you live but it’s been a little too cool here at night for me to sit outside. But I hope you enjoy the new screened porch. I have a one myself and it’s my favorite place to hang out and watch sports.

You're supposed to try to wait 5 minutes before drinking anything. I didn't drink anything for 30 minutes, the heat went away but i just got thirsty by then lol.

The pitching is a little worrisome but hopefully the offense doesn't disappear. With as good as it's been all year i think it should be ok. It would be nice to at least win a playoff series again.

I’m assuming you did this with buddies? Did they make it without drinking?

There is a guy out there named Todd Graves that does a great job explaining it. Lots of free content by him out there as well. I'm gonna go all-in, I've sprayed it the conventional way for far too long thanks to the teachings of the great Golf My Way by Jack Nicklaus, the GOAT!! Hehe I once played to a 4.6 but only for a short time, closer to a 10-12 now, a miserable 14 during this swing change.

I bought it to do with some friends but my 9 year old nephew wanted to watch me do it so I did it by myself for him. I'll probably do it again with some friends. There's a ton of videos of people eating it, Shaq did on TNT a couple of years ago. You used to have to order it online and it was really hard to find but they started selling them at some gas stations and Kroger this week.
