What's good with you and yours? What are your kiddos gonna be for Halloween? Anybody doing anything fun this weekend?

We're going to see Dracula is Coming tomorrow night at the Mountainside Theatre in Cherokee, NC. Supposed to be raining pretty much the whole day and night, but I have sat through rain games. I'm ready!

My daughter’s wedding shower brunch is tomorrow, during which I will be imparting some marital wisdom to my future son in law over breakfast.

My nuggets of wisdom will include:

1. Listen to her to understand and relate, not to reply and fix.
2. Make your home a safe place where you can leave the stress of the world outside
3. Go with her even on small errands sometimes, you’ll be surprised at the conversations and fun you can have doing simple things

Anything else you guys want to add?
