Well guys, it's been a crazy week of rumors, speculation and projected inclement weather, which could affect the SEC Eastern Division race. But all that matters right now is tomorrow's game against the Aggies. In addition to the usual injuries, it sounds like Jalen Hurd won't play. We'll definitely miss him, if in fact he doesn't play, but Alvin Kamara has proven to be a more than capable contributor, and I'm confident he'll step up tomorrow. It should be a great game!

So what's everyone up to tonight? Any plans for tomorrow? What's on the menu? Share pics if you have them.

Let's get it.

Go Vols!

Cleaning up after going through Matthew down here in FL. I'm on the Space Coast where it hit hardest, have a few broken branches and that's about it.

.. And some Jameson to make it go easier, or harder, either way, drinking ..

I've worked the last 2 Saturday's, but I'm off tomorrow. I feel like I should volunteer to work or I'm going to jinx it.

Me and my 8 month old will be wearing our orange tmrw. He will be wearing the same onesie he has worn all season because he has yet to see our boys lose since he was born. I told him after the Hail Mary last week that he was our lucky charm. Playing baseball from the age of 2 until 18 makes you very superstitious... It's a blessing and a curse I guess.

Edit: I got home from work that game and we were just about to be down 17-0 and I noticed my wife had not put him in said onesie so I quickly put him into it and the rest is history.

A week and a half off from work, headed Sunday morning to... Ocracoke Island. All visitors evacuated on Wednesday. But maybe they're dialing back; maybe by Sunday afternoon, they will decide that it's OK. So we're driving in that direction, and if it doesn't work out, we'll head up the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Who knew that a week meant for vegging out and doing nothing much at all could get so challenging??

Whatever happens, we're home to watch ATM and Bama. Go Vols!

We had fresh deer meat for supper. Boy, was it good too. Grilled deer meat with my special marinade. I could eat it every single day of my life. :)

What marinade? I love deer not the wife though.
It's one I made up for myself years & years ago. It's Dale's Sauce, BBQ sauce, Teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, & A-1 Bold sauce mixed all together in a pretty big bowl/pot. Be sure & stir well. Let the deer meat marinade overnight & fix the deer meat on a grill the next day.

It's the best meat you can eat & it's clean & not full of bad things for your body. From the woods to the freezer & to the dinner table. :)

Enjoying a laid back Friday evening keeping up with hs football, the weather is beautiful clear and cool, slight gentle breeze. Our Vols started out Monday -6.5 underdog moving to -7 stable all week. I thought that was odd considering all the injury announcements and chalk talk. Prepping to enjoy the battle, and wgwtfa coach Sumlin.

I have daughters. The last one decided to get married on the Alabama weekend and have a rehearsal during the A&M game.

She's lucky I love her!
