I am about to put a pork shoulder on the smoker for the game tomorrow. Making slaw, beans and banana pudding in the morning. Just watching Tulsa and OK St tonight.

My office is in downtown Knoxville. Family went down there to eat and wander around. For those of you who don’t live in Knoxville, you have to come downtown on the Friday before a game. Or really any Friday. It is really alive and fun now. There’s also a great farmers market on Saturday mornings.

I just got back to God’s country today from our wanderings in England where we were getting our youngest set up at University of York.

Was going to head to the game tomorrow but my body has had enough miles put on it the last few weeks. Will be sitting in the best seat in the house… on the deck watching it on TV! May go get some Edley’s burnt ends and pulled chicken to address the need for protein. Liquid of choice, TBD.

So glad to be back!

Wife's birthday was yesterday, had doc appointments in the 'big city' and picked up take out at her favorite Chinese place.
Now sitting at home relaxing watching reruns of her favorite show - Walking Dead.

Be watching the game tommorrow while getting things together for a friends coming over for some burgers and drinks for her birthday...I should be in happy mood with a solid win in the books.
