Informal poll time: who around here listens to country music? If you do, list one of your favorite artists.

Keith Urban too.

No doubt. He's a talented player and a great showman. His style of music is actually closer to my taste than the 3 guys I mentioned.

I could go on and on, there are so many great ones. I grew up hearing Chet Atkins, Roy Clark and Jerry Reed. And without Merle Travis we wouldn't have Travis picking! Albert Lee (even though he's British), Vince Gill, Brent Mason and so many others have kept the string of greatness going. I've probably spent hundreds of hours watching YouTube videos of these guys over the years and I don't even consider myself a fan of the genre.

To each his own I guess. What is "all about us" is spending time together doing what we love to do. Fishing, family dinners, Tennessee football, etc.
