Besides the obvious old outlaw country, I’m really digging Whitey Morgan. Sounds a lot like the old school stuff. I hate the new sound of pop country. It’s painful to listen to.

I'm more of a rock fan myself, but I'll listen if it's on. When it comes to country, I prefer the stuff that was popular in the 90s to anything out today. Stuff like Brooks and Dunn, Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson and so on.
