I have a 9/11 tribute workout this morning. Then a birthday party at 1. I will likely be listening to a bunch of it.

Game day morning (in just a couple of hours), I’m speaking at a 9/11 Remembrance ceremony at one of the rvtiwns nearby Fort Hood. Gotta love the way Central Texas supports those of us in uniform, even through the toughest of times.

After that, I’ll be changing into my VOLS gear and headed home to catch the game on my giant TV.

Johnny Majors was the first VOLS coach I remember as a kid. I would watch “The Johnny Majors Show” on Sunday mornings on Channel 9 out of Chattanooga (or maybe it was Channel 12). Great memories.

This one’s for you, Coach Majors! I hope we make you proud today!

I felt 50/50 until I heard Evans was out. He’s clearly our best RB. At the same time we don’t know if Cooper Mays will play and Young is still ineligible. Yuk

RB wise, yeah Evans is really good, but so is Jabari Small. Both were close. Plus, we have a tremendous amount of depth there.

Mowed and trimmed after work today. Having the extended family over for beer and pizza tomorrow while we watch some Vol Football.

I'm not expecting much from our guys based on what I've seen so far, but I do hope they pull out the "W."

Nice thing about moving into an apartment, I don't have to worry about mowing the 1.5 acres of yard I used to have anymore. Watching from home with just me and the dogs. Didn't have the energy to drive from Nashville after a couple of hectic weeks getting ready for an audit at work. I am expecting to see a team that is going to start surprising a few people. GO VOLS cage the Panthers. Remind Pitt that CJM was Tennessee's native son!

I’ll be traveling to Destin tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be able to listen to the game on SiriusXM. I’m assuming since it’s on ESPN it’ll be airing. If not, I guess I’ll be catching the replay.

Channel 135 or 191 I believe will have it.

Are you wondering why our game isn't listed there? The graphic says most intriguing SEC vs group of 5 matchups, but Pitt is not group of 5, they're ACC (power 5).
