Always liked the Chiefs. Their fans seem about as passionate as college fans. Plus, no doubt who VFL Legend EBerry will be rooting for? Chiefs all the way!!!

Hope the Chiefs win. I like Andy Reid and being a Steelers fan, I don't want another team joining them with six rings. At least the Pats can't get a 7th this year.

I've been a Chiefs fan for as long as I can remember. The only NFL merchandise I ever bought was a Chiefs hat and I gave it to a neighbor kid because he was such a big Chiefs fan and they were having a tough time so I don't even have that now. But, still pulling for KC.

As the username states I’m a 49ers fan! I say they’re the ones to root for because it is a good story to go from 4-12 to 16-3 Super Bowl Champs, we have several guys with great stories (Raheem Mostert, Ben Garland to name a couple), and we don’t employ Tyreek Hill or Frank Clark.
Nothing unique planned, just having friends over to the apartment and regular Super Bowl food (pizza, nachos, wings, etc). I’m going to be so nervous

I'll suggest this. When you're making your chili, put your onions on your beef when it's half browned and continue until meat is browned to your liking. Then put your dry spices (chili powder, cumin, onion salt, etc.) on your beef in the pot and mix up. Then add your tomatoes and beans if you like 'em. I've been using this method and it seems to make a good difference.

That’s always how I make mine!

Since things are fairly slow in the football world right now, I thought we could have a thread to discuss the Super Bowl this weekend.

Who's watching? Who are you for? Do we have any actual 49ers or Chiefs fans here?

Me, I don't much care for either one of these teams. I'll definitely watch, but I haven't decided who I'm for quite yet. Maybe someone can convince me one way or the other. lol.

As for former Tennessee players, we have Emmanuel Mosely on the 49ers and Dustin Colquitt on the Chiefs.

Also, I want to hear about everyone's plans and all the great Super Bowl Parties out there. Food menu's, etc.

I hear a lot of people buy new TV's for the Super Bowl and I always wonder if that's true. Anyone taking the plunge on a new one?

.
Big time Chiefs fan since way back when Marty Schottenheimer (hope I spelled that right) was their coach. Also like Andy, he deserves a Super Bowl ring.

Was a 49ers (montana, young, rice, lott) fan growing up. When young retired, I lost the fire. That fire was rekindled when Patrick Willis was drafted since we are from the same town in west tn. However I could care less about them since he left. I don't watch a lot of pro ball and have no emotional attachment in this super bowl. Mahomes and company are fun to watch but...…...

I think the 9ers pound the rock and eat the clock to try to keep it away from chiefs offense. Also I believe 9ers have the edge on defense.

Cheifs 24

Cool Ill bite.

Start with beer, then going to get the fire going, beer, then going to get the pot on the fire, beer, then fill the pot up with water, beer, then wait for it to boil, beer, then throw all of the fixins in the pot, beer, then wait for it to boil again, beer, dump it all on the picknick table in the back yard, beer, then eat!

That's for breakfast.

I have not decided what is on the menu for lunch but I have a feeling that beer will be included.

Need more beer in my opinion.

remember Len Dawson...I was a big Chiefs fan back in the day, especially when they played the Raiders...I guess I'll have to go with the Chiefs, but either way I'm good with whomever wins...I was/am a Steelers fan even before the Chiefs or any other team though...

PS. almost forgot...it's my birthday too...:D

GO BIG ORANGE!

Playing golf (weather permitting) first half of the day, dinner and drinks to immediately follow. Probably watching M*A*S*H or The Rockford Files reruns the rest of the night. I have zero interest in watching this Super Bowl.

No Magnum, P.I.?!?

Chiefs Kingdom over here.

I’ve been to KC a hundred times for business - and usually fly when they play the Patriots for some reason. Great fans and the best regional barbecue north of São Paulo.
