Spent the week in Hilton Head, now in Savannah for the weekend. Will probably watch game from our house rental and grill burgers or steaks. Tonight will watch my grandson play football on Nfss for Lenoir City against Heritage and partake in cold beverages.

My wife is sick. I will be chasing kids and hopefully getting a peak or two at the games Saturday!!!

Wife and I drove 4 hours to Jonesborough to spend the night with our youngest daughter and her husband. Gonna start Happy Hour around 5:30 with an Old Fashion at Tennessee Hills Distillery. Afterwards, grilling burgers and 'dogs back at their place while watching Tulane and Memphis on ESPN. Looking forward to the 90 minute drive back to Knoxville in the morning and meeting an ole college buddy at Gus's for a hoagie on dark. Our seats are in Y10.

Going to a HS game tonight, helping a friend move tomorrow AM in exchange for a bottle of Old #7, and then to the house to watch the Big Orange and listen to the Vol Network. I’m nervous about this one, as always, but I believe the open date came at the best time, as A&M had to play Bama last weekend, while the Vols got to rest and heal and prepare.

I’m heading home from destin fl. Without a doubt the best beach and the best food I’ve ever experienced. to unfortunately I think my math has us hitting Knoxville around the end of the game so best case scenario I watch on a phone worst case scenario I watch on a phone in traffic(don’t worry I’m not drivin)as far as food goes it’s probably going to be cracker Barrel as much as I’d love it to be Buckys I just ask you keep us in your prayers and thoughts also please make Gary Danielson ears bleed

I’m making potato sausage soup tonight. I let my kids have a friend each over for a sleepover, so they can eat pizza and watch Halloween movies while I watch the game. Go Vols!

Covid + for the first time earlier this week. Pretty sure it has now morphed into a sinus infection. Just watching football from the couch.
I feel your pain, got strep throat and fever, morphed into covid. I managed all this time to avoid it til now. Have to admit, I’m kinda wiped out. BUT, hell or high water, I will be ready for 3:30 tomorrow-on the sofa.

Unfortunately, not making it to this game...but y'all will be able to hear me in Knoxville from the mountains here in Western Virginia (ya know John Denver's song was ACTUALLY about "WestERN Virginia" where I am...kinda like "Dixieland Delight" is actually a TENNESSEE song...sung by guys from/named Alabama...(actually Myrtle Beach if you know the REAL story...)

*WOOT* *HISSSSSS* *HEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYY*

Oops...sorry...started to sound like one of them Aggie Yell-Girls in the overalls!

so after I get done pretending in my office...I'm headed home to kiss my beautiful wife and sit on my porch with my dear DEAR Friend George...

Haven’t drank alcohol in over 20 years but I do remember spending quite a bit of quality time with Mr Dickel!

Must be what I have. I’ve had the worst sore throat since yesterday that I’ve had since before getting my tonsils removed at a young age.

Started a thread about it, but my wife and I are in K-Town, my first time back in 40 years since I was a student here, and we will be in section BB tomorrow (in orange, as per CheckerNeyland requirements). Couldn't be more fired up.

You guys know the drill.

Who's going to the game and who's watching at home or at a bar/restaurant? Other plans this weekend? Food menu? Anyone checking out a high school game tonight? Other college games you're excited to watch this weekend?

... or whatever is on your mind.
Been on vacation at Disney w/ wife and daughter this week driving back to Tennessee tomorrow… hoping to leave early enough to get home around kickoff

We just got back last week. Old Bay Steamer and Asiago’s skillet in Okaloosa are phenomenal. Always more fun in the off-season bc there’s no crowds

Working nightshift tonight and tomorrow night. I will set my alarm for 315pm tomorrow so can watch the game. Will get ready for work at halftime so I don’t miss any and game should be over around the time I have to leave for work. Exciting huh!

Watch parts of the pregame shows ( it’s getting more and more difficult
to watch them ), coffee and a couple of pieces of toast .Bloody Mary by
11am Eastern. Flip thru the channels and catch part of a few games.
I‘m sorry, but my 79 year old heart ( even with the help of a pacemaker)
will not allow me to watch the Vols unless it is a really easy game. Do
what ever it takes to kill time until I think the UT game is over; watch an
old movie, go for a walk, etc. Check the scores about an hour after i
think the game is over. Either celebrate or fight off depression. Sometimes
I don’t check the scores until the next morning. I still can’t get over the
wake up to the 2001 SEC Championship game !
