A lot of us were getting pumped up with you about the Pirate (Leach) coming to the Vols.

It would have been fun to see his offense run against the SEC.

Just checking to see if your okay and do you think that Fumler would at least make contact with Leach?

I think it's gonna be Les Miles. Bring in Tee Martin as OC and head coach in waiting. Les get's a 3 year deal then Tee takes over. Hope we go after Kevin Steel as DC also. Got to have coaches who can recruit against a Saban, Smart, Fisher, and those guys. Someone who knows the SEC.

Ok. 2 sec championships and national championship. 3 days ago we were about to hire the NCST coach. Give me a break. Put in some VFLs on staff and let's get this thing rolling.

What did you expect? Every coach in the country drooling to be here jumping onto the fastest plane boat or car to Knoxville? All we are and will be is a bargaining tool to get a raise at their current jobs.

Hell, why would anyone want to be here? Nobody wants to coach while wearing body armor and being escorted by their own personal security everywhere. It wouldn't surprise me if even some of the former Vols who are coaching will have second thoughts about coming here. They aren't immune to being stabbed in the back. You may not think so, but ask what folk in the other 49 states think.

Instead of bothering with houses, Tennessee coaches might as well reside at Holiday Inn Express. We might be a stepping stone at best, and a place for only the desperate at worst. And when they need a coach, other schools will look to our staff first because they feel sorry for them. Don't believe it? Sit back and watch.
