The problem with your math is that when this game was offered, the ticket prices at Neyland were much less than $45. It was several years ago. I do not know the exact year, nor the excat ticket prices at the time. I would have to think that a new offer, perhaps unlikely, would be adjusted for the current dollar value.
You're right...like I said...rough numbers. But I was in college at ETSU at the time so it had to have been around 2002. Not a big price difference from then, maybe $5 for big games. Also, do you honestly think they will have everyone show up 4 to a car with parking? Or that everyone will ONLY buy one coke? Not hot dogs? No nachos or pizza? And what about souvenirs such as t-shirts, etc.? Even with a lower ticket price, they would still have stood to make more than the figure I estimated.
I think it holds 165,000. Maybe in-field included. It would be fun if it happened. Would you be able to drink a cold one at the game if it happened?
