Frank Anderson still being linked to Giants openings

How is it still a question?

Tony was hired a month ago. Frank's decision on whether he was going with him or staying(assuming Tony offered him the job) also should have been made a month ago.

Could this whole transition of Tony(and whoever he's taking with him) have moved at any more of a snails pace than it has?

Staff was going to stay in place until NSD Plus, Vitello is (and should be) taking his time in understanding needs of Giants and putting together his coaching staff along with feedback from Brochy, Tingler, Posey, etc.

Are we sure we’re safe? Kendall Rogers never said Frank was being specifically considered for pitching coach. I know that is most likely, but with Q taking a job a bit higher level and more front office focused I had wondered if maybe Tony offered Frank something similar.

Paranoia is a killer..... especially in VolNation.. good grief.

Is it paranoia when the exact quote from KR is “pitching-related openings” which means multiple jobs and not specifically the pitching coach? My only point is I don’t think this means we’re definitely in the clear.

Dear Tony V

I love you, I really do, You brought us many great memories and a World Series championship that I will never forget!
With that said…stay the hell away from Frank Anderson!!
Go find yourself a pitching coach with some MLB experience and let me keep MY guy in Knoxville!!

Yours truly,
CobbWebb

I want CFA to remain, but is bullpen coach an option with the Giants?
