Foxsports: Dobbs/Watson comparison

Will be interesting to see how Watson performs in his big matchup Saturday. Dobbs sure came through in his big game last Saturday. The cream usually rises to the top.

A, it was obviously a joke a B, nothing better than taking away someone's free speech

No one has free speech here. This is a moderated board (rightfully so) and it is the sole property of Vol_Freak Enterprises, LLC; a subsidiary of WGWTFA, Inc.

I like Dobbs.

What's amazing is the difference in his ball placement... leading receivers, reads, and accuracy by simply standing in the pocket and waiting an extra millisecond before throwing. He took more hits in the pocket Saturday after throwing than any other time I can remember. Hat tip to sjt.

And C, nothing like being an azzhole to our QB that is the heart and soul of this team.

If I didn't know any better some of these posts make me feel like I'm on a rivals forum!

All of this. Most relaxed I've seen him in the pocket

It's very ironic that Dobbs is playing the best football of his life right now and D4H gave up on him. Lol.

I don't care what happens this year. The guys we're losing will forever be special to me for helping get TN football back.

Maybin, Sutton, Dobbs, maybe Barnett, Weisman, OBrien, to name a few.

We're going to miss these dudes next year.

Just think of what his STATS would look like if the team had played both halves in all 4 games..........

Don't you guys just know that D4H is lurking in this thread and is dying to post but he just can't swallow his pride and mea culpa. Lol. Oh the irony that after 2 solid years of irrational, pie in the sky, over the top advocacy for Josh, he actually throws his hands up and renounces him and the team the same week that Dobbs completed 70% of his passes vs Ohio and the week before he kills it with arguably with his best game ever in helping end the Florida streak. Haha. Gotta be killing him.

Consider this.....since D4H "left" VN, in his last 2 games, Dobbs is 35-59 for 522 yards and 6 tds. He's also run for 139 yards and 2 tds like a boss. Haha. You just can't make this stuff up. Hope old D4H is reading this and his 14 year old head is about to explode.

You know he's reading this thread but too stubborn to admit he was wrong. Honestly I would rather he change his name and start posting less like a know it all. I was ready to see him go.

He's busy on the Louisville board, I'm sure.

Don't tell any of this to any Clemson homers. They'll just laugh. It's inconceivable to them, that statistically, anyone can come close to their savior Deshaun Watson. Clemson Tom thinks Watson is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I have watched 3 games of Watson's and he has not lived up to the hype one bit. I would much rather have Dobbs at this point because when the spotlight was on he performed. When Watson played Auburn he looked bad and didn't look that good against GT.

If he continues to put up these kinds of numbers and the Vols win out, he should certainly be a finalist for the Heisman.

And with our history in that award he would finish 2nd to a guy that is on an 6 win team, somebody like Jalen Tabor. They may win 6 games 😁

I have always been a Dobbs fan ever since he made his first start. Ive kept my mouth shut while some have dogged him, but in reality were not the same team without him, period. I will be sad to see him go, hes a great athlete, and football player imo
