Fox sports mock draft has Meachem going 11th!!!

I don't think he'll go 11th overall...but Meachem, Jarret, Bowe and Rice are really a pick 'em...there's not much difference between them, so it's possible.

No clue. I don't measure my team's success by draft results. I measure by championships.

I usually pull for any SEC team representing the conference in the NCAA Tournament or Bowl games, but I may be cheering against Florida this time.

Meachem's combine performance but him above Rice and Bowe. There are questions about Jarrett's work ethic. I don't see him going that high but who knows?

I would pick either Meachem or Rice over Jarrett. Jarrett would not have had the same stats if he played against SEC DB's.

Why, because I have the nerve to say that it is better to win an SEC title and a national title than it is to get players drafted highly? Come on, its the truth. You know you'd trade in a hearbeat. I mean, its great that you have a player that is going to personally get rich and all, but it doesn't hang banners on the field.

No, just because the Gator's fans around here (Atlanta) are starting to bother me with all their happiness.

It is hard to live in Fla. and see all the bandwagon G fans all of the sudden and see news clips supporting Gators all the time. Gator this and Gator that and look how great the Gators are. It gets old fast if your a Vol. So I hope they dont win so I dont have to hear about it 24-7. No disrespect

Fair enough. I would be rankled by it, too. But if the shoe was on the other foot, you'd be pretty excited as well, so try and let us have our day in the limelight. It will end soon enough.

I'm no bandwagon jumper. I went there (2x) and have been a fan since 1982. I was there for the end of the Pell era and the beginning of Galen Hall and Norm Sloan. Trust me, I've earned the right to enjoy a little success.

Jarrett's speed is really the question.

People have tied him to Mike Williams because they are both tall USC receivers too. Mike had the work ethic of a slug.

If I'm Dwayne Jarrett I would tell scouts to like at Keyshawn's career, not Mike's

williams was a man among boys as a freshman. I was rather shocked he flopped.

Lock the thread, nothing to see here, lawgator1 doesn't approve of individual player talk, no matter the discussion.

LOL. Not quite accurate. I was reacting more to the initial post, which sounded like a school girl excited that Justin Timberlake will be on tour this summer.

You don't root for your players after they leave your team?
