Nice to have others believe in you, but were we not picked to win the SECT also?

If we must be in the play-in games, this certainly isn't the worst place to be. We are coming in playing our best basketball of the season while Iowa and UMASS have stumbled their way into the field.

Iowa has lost 6 out of their last 7 games. Talk about limping into the tourney. If we stay composed and don't play tight or scared we should win.

Yep, we got a good chance to win 2.

Iowa might have lost 6 of their last 7 but many most of those loses were to the likes of Iowa st, Ohio State, Mich st, ect but 6 pts or less. They are still a very good team.

I agree. They killed a good Michigan team and did well in the B4A tournament but the wheels have fallen off IMO.

There was a certain someone who picked Tennessee to win the SEC tournament last week too. It amazes me we make the tournament and all the sudden we are world beaters, ive even seen some on here calling duke overrated and soft? Wow, and some seem offended we are in the play in game when the truth of the matter is we played mediocre basketball in the worst power conference. I dont get how all of this is adding up to a sweet 16 run

If we play like we're capable of, we should be playing Duke on Sunday! If we play like we did most of Jan. we are DONE!

Who would guard Parker? I don't believe Stokes or Maymon are quick enough and Parker would overpower everyone else. Parker might get 40. Maybe the 1-3-1 would help?

I'd be interested to see what Moore could do with Parker. He's strong, quick, and long.

I still think Stokes could hold his own though.

I would put josh on him. Parker is a little taller and heavier, but I think it is your best chance.

Moore is athletic and quick, but not so long. As good as Josh has defended this year, he would be giving away a ton of muscle against Parker. Stokes is a hybrid 5/4 whereas Parker is a 3 in a 4's body. Would be a really tough defend for Stokes IMO and Parker would struggle to defend Stokes if he drew that assignment for Duke.

I guess there's never an easy answer as to how to defend a guy that may be the 1st pick in the NBA draft?

Moore and Richardson.

Richardson guarded Cleanthony Early who he gave up about 5" and 30lbs to, I would take my chances.
