I understand people not liking Fowler, but I don’t get why UT fans would dislike Herbstreit. I think he’s always been fair and complementary of Tennessee.

Herbie has become hard to listen too.

Fowler's comments were stupid. Probably taken out of context a little but still stupid. I think he's paid for it in full, however. I don't harbor any ill will toward him.

That said, there are several ESPN personalities on that network that have a severe anti-Tennessee bias far worse than anything Fowler did. I think that's what's really kept this fueled.

Exactly. When Pollack was on ESPN he didn't even try to hide his bias. I can't stand that clown.

Tessitore gives me new found respect for Verne Lundquist. Gotta say, I did like Verne as a golf announcer, particularly on amazing shots from Tiger Woods. Great era.

He was great as a golf announcer, but he was awful as an SEC fooball announcer. People crap on Danielson, and rightfully so, but Vern had such a mancrush on Tebow he would still talk about him in a Tennessee Alabama game 10 years after Timmy had run out of eligibility.
