After what seems like forever the Florida game is finally here. I am really thinking we will see a completely different team on Saturday. I feel the first 3 games have been a build to this no matter what the players and coaches have been saying, but only time will tell.

My four this week:

#1 Blitz, blitz, blitz. Get QB(s) thinking were the next hit is coming from instead of the play.

#2 D line, Tuttle, KMac, Kongbo and DEs playing lights out to keep pressure off of the LBs. Stop the run passing will take care of itself.

#3 DBs keep WRs in front. With Calloway out or limited I think the next guy has 4 catches. AND do not let one guy block 3 for 64 yard TD.

#4 Offense have best game so far this year. Play in control, no dumb mistakes like last week. This probably will be low scoring game 24 points should win.

And this week I'm adding a fifth.

#5 Neyland needs to be loud and proud. Lets show Mr. Purdue QB what an SEC game is all about.

As always add yours and GBO!!!!!!

A lot of bold calls, trick plays, blitz and physical play. Not afraid to make mistakes. Win boldly or lose fighting hard. I think Volnation will be more forgiving of Butch if we lost that way rather than playing it safe. Also Volantion will enjoy a win like that a lot more than a 'play it safe' 16-14 win.

This game is often decided by who runs the ball. If we exceed FL in rushing, I think we will win.

Only problem is our OL and our play calling will not do that. Hurd is really being wasted under the Mike Debord offense. I like the suggestion the TV talking heads suggested last week during the game.

Run an I formation and feed Hurd the ball and pound it in all locations across the front of Gators defense.

Instead DeBord will throw ridiculous screen passes and Dobbs will get sacked trying to throw the ball downfield again.

And that will make an even dozen years..............

And the other half of the posters will complain cause we don't throw it down the field

We did out rush them last year 254-109 and lost. I want us to run it down their throat, but I'll take throwing deep on them too if we are ahead at the final buzzer.

Follow the Maxims

Intensity for 60 Minutes not 53.5

Win

Bonus points I want to see Jalen Hurd Truck Jalen Tabor.

Here's some novel ideas....why not have Hurd and Kamara in the same backfield? Fake jet sweep to E Berry? Hurd blocks for Karmara on multi-option but Dobbs keeps around RT? Kamara on a screen? Reverse from Kamara to E Berry?

With this much talent, we could go on for hours.

1) jump them fast. Not sure they have the offense to have to comeback from a 10-14 point deficit. Not sure we have the offense to jump them like that, either.

2)OL protects Dobbs and gives him time.

3) Kamara gets more touches whether it be lined up to take a handoff, screen pass or two, or put the man in the slot. Just get it to him.

4) Win

This actually makes me feel better about this game. Last year our line play was abysmal at this point in the season. Florida's D was very good. The rushing yards were fantastic (254 to 109).

I think Florida's D is a little overrated this year due to the competition. 53 yards is still 53 yards though. I think our Oline play will improve this game, with Hall and moving guys around. I don't think that they played horrible against Ohio. They can use some improvement though.

Appleby's size does concern me. He is likened to Roethlisberger. We have to wrap up and take him to the ground or he will get yards. That scares me.

I also believe that we will run some plays that have not been run this year. The announcers in the Ohio game said that they think we will move Dobbs under center and run the I formation some this week. He said that we have been practicing it all year.

I am hopeful this year as much as ever. GBO!:3cheers::bammer:

1- Play with confidence. Run the O... run right at them.

2- Get consistent penetration and disruption by the down 4.

3- Throw it on time and accurate.

4- Take away their run game from the start.

2)OL protects Dobbs and gives him time.

Dobbs had time on 3 particular throws vs Ohio. Two would have been scores. One would have converted a critical 3rd down. Malone was open all three times and had no one within 10 yards twice....

Dobbs has to be more accurate.

Agree. On the slant it appeared to me that Malone was only running 3/4 speed. He saw the ball in the air and sped up but couldn't get there. I think that one was on him not Dobbs.

Sounds awesome as long as they can pull it all off in 0.7 seconds before one of the matadors on the OL let a DL or LB run free in the backfield.

If you are talking about that crossing route... you couldn't be more wrong. Malone had to settle into the open area and avoid going out of bounds. All Dobbs had to do is throw it with a little air under it so Malone could adjust.

All three of those throws were on Dobbs.

Malone is playing more like an SEC Championship player than anyone else on the roster. His routes are great. He's catching the ball. He's running well after the catch. And he's blocking well.
