With the portal in play, I don't keep up with HS recruiting in any sport as much. Know he's a 4 star, but what's the skinny on this kid? Gonna help early?

I think they will raise the start of his jumpshot motion from low (his hips) to up around his chest. Smooth shot, but too slow right now for SEC play. But Barnes wouldn't have wanted him if he wasn't coachable and hard working. All good!

"Ralph Scott—a four-star 2026 basketball recruit who committed to the University of Tennessee on September 30, 2025—has a strong connection to Bermuda. He is a native Bermudian who grew up there, attended Warwick Academy, and began playing basketball locally with the Hurricanes Basketball Club before moving to the U.S. for high school at IMG Academy in Florida. Scott has represented Bermuda on its youth national teams (including the U16 squad in 2023 and 2024) and is the first Bermudian selected for the NBA's Basketball Without Borders Americas camp, where he earned MVP honors in 2025. In his commitment announcement, he specifically thanked Bermuda and its people for their support."
