Keep dooley.

I'm a fan of another sec school and we all approve this message. Except for the legions of georgia fans dying to see dooley coach the dawgs.

So Barack Obama just got reelected. The country is in terrible shape, but we decided to give him another four years to try to fix it. But here yall are calling for Derek Dooley to be fired and year 2 (yeah, 2010 was year 0) isn't even over yet! What do you think is easier, fixing a football program that was left in chaos or the best country in the world? Dooley deserves more time and I'm here to tell you why.

First off, recruiting. We have done really well in Georgia, the state that a lot of our players in the 90s come from. We just got a really solid under the rader guy yesterday that will help us out immedieately. And everybody remembers when we snagged a five star stud WR right out of Mark Richts hands. Plus we got Brian Randolph and AJ Johnson. The roster in general is way better, especially on the DLine. We also got a bunch of DBs so we'll be ok when PWagg graduates.

Second, we've got the endorsement of coaches. Nick Saban and Will Muchsamp both have said he is doing a good job. these guys are runing top 5 teams! You think we know more about football than they do? Dooley is doing fine, and these guys know it. big time reults will come soon, just wait til our bowl game! Saban knows it takes time. Look at John Wooden at UCLA. He couldn't win achmapionship for over ten years, then he won seven in a row!

Next is the players. they clearly love him and are fired up to play for him. Look how he's gotten Bray to start getting excited and fired up on the field. he's come a long ways since that california cool stuff hwen he was a freshman. And the guys have a lot of character now. No Kiffin thugs like Da'rick!

The offense has gotten better every year and is one of the best in the country this year. we got the wild pig formation which has a passing td against one of the best defenses in the nation. think about what chaney can do with that once he gets another year to get everything perfect. Revolutionizing Vol offense!

The defense is struggling. I admit that. But it's year one with a new DC and a new system! You can't xpect it to be perfect right a way. Things will get a lot better in year 2. Sal is a Saban guy and look what Saban did in year 2... 10-2 record. let that sink in. even with the defense taking a step bakc, we are probbly going to go 7-5, which is 2 gmes improvement. if you include moral victories we are 10-2. Pretty soon these moral victoryes will be actual wins.

Tradition. what's more important thatn tradition in Tennessee? vol navy, pride of the southland, running through the T, Rocky Top maxims, orange... it's evrything. Dooley respects those traditions (unlike the last guy!) Dooley is a VFL and it shows. He's got the pants, he's got the background, and he's the man that came to save back in 2010 when we needed it most. You nkow who could have taken the job but didn't? everyon'es favorite replacement Jon Gruden. So now Gruden wants to come in and win with a bunch of Dooley's players? How is that VFL? And if Gruden came, what's stopping him from leaving again? he already did once, and that was for SW MIssouri St! Dooley did the dirty work to get us back to the top becasue he bleeds orange. Now we need to let him enjoy his successes.

Plus, the man is on crutches. he is going through enough. Let him get back on his feet and coach the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Then we can talk. The Vols will be back and Derek Dooley will get us there!!!!!!!!!!!11

GBO!

I hope OP knows the majority of the top recruits you want are BLACK OBAMA supporters. You are one of the main guys complaining about recruits looking at this board and you are going to post this. Like I said before TN fans are no different than the honkie students in Oxford, MS yall just have hidden hate. I hope a recruit does see this cause you fans deserve every bit of what we are currently getting

I live not far from Oxford, and that was the dumbest thing that I have ever seen in my life by a bunch of idiot kids. What in the crap were they going to accomplish other than make themselves look even more racist than they already are. I hate Oxford, and Ole Miss. One should spend some time over there to really realize how special Knoxville is.

Projectile vomitting has more appeal than keeping that clown around. I suppose you thought the orange dog was going to solve our problems last year?

I wish Dooley would be the coach next yr but when he chose to play a totally diff defensive style this year, he signed his own pink slip.

I have a great idea. Since the tree huggers on the west coast and the liberals on the east coast are so much more forgiving of crappy performances by their leaders, I say Dooley should have a chance to coach in any state that Obama won. I know of one state in particular that he didn't win, and it wasn't even close. :)

As far as the racial card that someone played a few posts ago, I haven't seen the first racial statement in this topic. Here is something for you to chew on. I will list below how Whites, Blacks, and Hispanics (in no particular order) voted and let you decide who voted as a racist.

Race A voted 59% Romney; 31% Obama
Race B voted 71% Obama; 29% Romney
Race C voted 93% Obama; 7% Romney

If Dooley is retained it'd be catastrophic for this program.

i concur, but i have a lot more confidence in CDD winning the NC given 4 more years at UT than i do owebama balancing the budget over the next 4.

There's nothing I like more than the those pesky "1s" that appear at the end of a long line of exclamation points. It makes the argument even stronger and reminds me of the glory days of 6th and 7th grade.
