Although Arian fumbled at a critical time of the game, that wasn't the reason we lost IMO.
We lost because Clawson and Crompton both froze on the big stage. Clawson was passing out of the gate, second play of the game. We have a two good running backs, experienced offensive line, and early on, we put the game on a qb that has very little game experience.
Crompton never left the game even though he was csoting us the game, but they sure didn't hesitate to pull Arian out.
Personally I hope AF is getting pumped for the SEC and our play calling is not so predictable when the SEC rolls around.
Pooch kick needs to be taken out of our game plan. Didn't work against UGA in Knoxville, gave them about 20 extra yards last night.
One more thing, I wish Wilks would have stayed on offense now because our w/r can't catch unless it's a perfect throw.

All of those interviews I saw with him where he is blatantly arrogant and assuring people that he will prove his doubters wrong are really pissing me off right now

Really? Another freaking "Fostermom, we love Arian!" thread?

And you somehow managed to work in some Rod Wilks love too? Unbelievable.

And all of Clawson's comments about how Crompton needs to realize that he doesn't need to feel like winning the game with every throw are scary as well. Clawson knew Crompton's problems and couldn't address them.

Exactly, UTFTID, there was enough mistakes by a lot of players and coaches (placekicker, blocked punt, QB etc) to lose several games. If AF had fumbled at the 50 yard line no one would have remembered it.

That's right. Because fumbling inside the 20 with all the momentum is just like fumbling at the 50 where you're still 20 yards out of field goal range.

Yep, it would be one thing to blame AF if the team played perfectly on both sides of the ball and our coaches weren't morons. As we all know, that didn't happen, so UT lost to a craptacular team, AF didn't cause it.

Whether you like it or not, or FosterMom likes it or not, Arian's fumble WAS a big reason why we lost last night. When you fumble inside the ten at a time when you are about to throw a knockout punch, it is CRITICAL.

Lets face it. Foster has fumbled four times at critical times in big games. We have lost three of those games. We recovered the one against SC last year to save the game

Put TWO hands around it. He is still carrying it like a loaf of bread.

whatever. that was a huge play and he dropped the ball. Hardesty took over.
no doubt...but the bigger picture to me is we have way more problems than just one fumble.

We shouldve been beating them so bad that when AF fumbled, it would've been humorous, as in giving false hope to a team that was trailing by 4 TD's

your post was pure B.S, it's okay to kill a scoring drive at a crucial point in the game, but yet Clawson and crompton choked? hmmm, lets see now, oh yeah lets forget about the offensive line not being able to pick up their blitzes and crompton throwing all nite with people in his face, lets remember defensive backs giving their recievers 10 yard cushions and not adjusting at all, not getting pressure on their qb as we did in the first half, or how about the drive killing penalties we had, or better yet, that wonderful punt formation that allowed them to send everyone at our inexperienced punter. Or last but not least, our wonderful change of offensive game plan in the middle of the game after we drove the ball 80 yards down field running it down their throats and making them play our game, to low and behold, our next 7 offensive series going 3 and out because of mistakes; and mistakes by players who should not be making mistakes, how many times did we jump offsides, how many procedure penalties?
I guess there are fans who know nothing about football, you seem to be one of them, and a suck up too.

i'm not for calling out individual players either..........but..........that fumble hurt........and if we're being honest........this isn't the first time it's happened in game changing situations.........

anyway........done is done.

if were gonna call someone out lets call out the O line. Did they even show up last night????? they give up as many sacs in one game as they did the whole seaon last year and they were supposed to be our saving grace. I am absolutely disgusted with the play calling as well. This new offense looked just like the same sh** we have run that doesn't work the last 3 yrs. I think Clawson was given the OL' fULMER PLAYBOOK INSTEAED of his new book??????

look fostermom, I like Arian and all, he's a pretty good back, but he does have a knack for fumbling at the worst possible times. I know it's never good to fumble, but how many game changing fumbles do I have to sit through?

Careful. You'll piss off all the Foster supporters, who would otherwise be bashing him as well, but his mom posts here, so they'll come flying to his defense in hopes that she'll see their posts, and then they'll become great friends and get invited to Arian and Fostermom's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

A solid back that has fumbled at crucial times is a back you can't depend on in crunch time. It is what it is... Might not be his fault we lost but the critical fumbles have happened too often for it to be overlooked.

I'll choose having a dependable rb over going to fostermom's house for thanksgiving dinner every day of the week and twice on saturdays
