Foster remains starter.. Cottam returns

We obviously need to run the ball, if he isn't as good at blocking than the other two than why should we put him on the field and let the other team know we are passing it? I agree he is more talented than Cottam or Stocker, but if he can't effectively block then only put him during passing situations.

How do we know he's not a good run-blocker, coming from the same coaches who can only get him on 6 snaps vs. Auburn when we threw the ball 24 times? If he's a Freshman All-American, I'm sure he's capable at run-blocking.

More foster, more crompton. Wow, we really haven't changed a thing have we. It reminds me of that nationwide search for a offensive coordinator we went on at the end of 05. Low and behold we came up with David cutcliffe who was right down the hall. Phil's not going to change anything. Mostly it feels like a big ole slap in the face.

Don't we have playsets using 2's TE, I'd like to see more of them using it more for max protection and hitting them down the middle

I love how fulmer never changes anythig. Clearly hardesty is better...yet...here comes foster again. I really believe fulmer has an arrogance issue. It's the only reasoning i can give myself as to why he NEVER changes his gameplan.

Fulmer in locker room at halftime:
"Well boys, our four signature plays didn't work the first two quarters...now what i wanna try is to fight like heck and make these plays work, they'll never expect that. :wink2:"

Sigh, what is his thought process :dunno:

I'd love to hear how you came to that conclusion.

He is probably not a better all around back but he has done well for us this year and has not had any costly turnovers. Arian is probably better but he is just bad luck for us right now. I say lets try Hardesty for a game and see how things work out.

It is amazing to me that Foster even continues to play after the disrespectful behavior he exhibited toward Fulmer. Once upon a time, players like Foster were benched for doing what he did.

He gave Florida the ball with 20 yards to go for a TD.

If I remember right, Tenn held FL to a Field Goal. (they were already in field goal range when they took possesion)
And he didn't "give" the ball. He fumbled after getting hit HARD and pretty much blind-sided. I can forgive that...

when's the last time Foster Fumbled after getting hit HARD????? And Foster took seven points away from Tenn by fumbling inside the 5 simply because he wasn't securing the ball properly. And again, if i remember properly, florida drove down the field after that fumble and scored a touchdown....

I believe you're referring to the one Crompton bounced off the FB while trying to get it to Arian. I got a great pic of it :)

Yep. That's clearly Arian's fault. How do you not secure it when Crompton puts it right in the breadbasket like that?

When you stop and think about it, forgetting how bad of a passer he is, how bad is it a fourth year guy (RS Jr.) has trouble handing the ball off?

why is Arian declining all media requests this week and why did he fail to show up @ post game interviews?

Because despite outward appearances this team is imploding. Fulmer is doing a good job of keeping it away from the media but the fact is there is arguing between players, coaches and just about every other level you could imagine in an athletic program.

Have you seen Foster run?????? He is not the pound it up the middle guy.....He is the dance outside and put the ball on the ground guy! Hardesty and Creer are the pound the ball guys, then it shoud be sweep or option with Jones or Hardesty!
