He should have never been in on that play immediately after he recieved that personal foul. Fulmer should have sat him at least the entire first quarter. Our coaches show no discipline toward these athletes.

I think we ran better with the other two backs in.

I agree 100 percent. He should have set the rest of the game. the flag changed the whole complexity of the game. As far as disipline, just look at the number of yards we lost on penalties.

I think the ensuing fumble, by Hardesty no less, had an even greater impact.

Let AF play as normal until we get the ball inside the 10, then take him out until we score a td or kick a FG. Now the fumble Saturday was definitely not his fault, but when we are 10 yards away and cough it up AF is the cause or somewhere around. So let AF sit while the ball is inside the 10 yd line. :dance2::rock:

But that would be a smart coaching move. We are talking about Fulmer here........

bad things only happen to him at crucial times.

in the words of fulmer, "he doesn't have a fumbling problem, he has a ball security problem."

wow

No doubt he should not have been in. Almost any other team in the country if you fumble you don't even need to ask your sitting the rest of the game but Fulmer has never made any one do that. He prefers to get them the ball again quickly so they don't feel bad. So why wouldn't he let Foster right back in after the only thing he could have done that was worse than the UCLA fumble?

Umm, are you sure you really want to stand behind that statement? The majority of college football coaches would bench their leading rusher for a whole game (against your biggest rival no less) because of a fumble?

why not just put the best backs in to begin with. leave AF's slow butt on the pine.

So you're telling me that our starting tailback is usually on the field when we fumble the ball or something bad happens. Couldn't that be said about our starting QB? It seems we've had a rash of boneheaded plays actually committed by our starting QBs as of late...

This kid runs his tail off every time he gets to touch the ball. How much more does he have to do to take over the starting role?

Foster's a senior out there getting 15 yard PF penalties & then yelling at our coach on National television. I don't think I'd start him another game for that lack of leadership. But that would require leadership wouldn't it?

START HARDESTY NOW!!!!!!!!!
