So far I'm loving this game. Best racing game I've ever played...hands down. Will be up for consideration for Game of the Year, IMO.

i've never been able to get into these games for some reason. i've had forza 2 for about 2 years since it came with my 360, but it's been collecting dust pretty much ever since then.

does it still have the bumper car like crashes that forza 2 and the gran turismo series had? not trying to nit pick, but thats one of the biggest issued i've had with these games. the physics of the crashes and burns need to be somewhat realistic

I should have this game in the next day or so and am anxious to play it.

If any of you guys are serious hardcore sim racers there is something I suggest you check out - iRacing on the PC. Its by far the most realistic sim racing experience you are ever likely to get. Its not cheap though but they HAVE just reduced their prices a bit. You can pay by month, every 3 months, 6 months, a year, or two year subscriptions. You would just have to check out their website to see how the prices break down but its reasonable if you are really into hardcore sim racing.

Alot of the real racers from across the globe use iRacing as well. Marcos Ambrose, Martin Truex, Dale Jr, Bobby Labonte, Mike Skinner, Joey Logano, Parker Klingerman, Danica Patrick, Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, Colin Braun, Brian Scott, Graham Rahal, Marco Andretti, and a ton of others from various forms of racing use the sim.

IMO anyone who wouldn't want to take this really seriously wouldn't like it much. You have a sporting code to follow and dirty driving can get you parked. This keeps the kids and the wreckers out of the servers for the most part. You have a ranking progression so you can't just start racing the COT from the beginning. You start out in Legends cars and move up to other oval series in steps - you go to Late Models, then to Trucks, Nationwide, and finally COT for the oval discipline. In the road course discipline you follow a similar progression as well.

Not trying to persuade anyone to the iRacing path but if you are honestly looking for a hardcore sim racing experience this is the best you are going to get.

I take it I'm the only one here playing this.... :(

Great game but I like to race some online with peeps I semi know rather than random 8-10 yr old kids that have no clue about racing. They complain about not being able to race and stay on the track.... so then they ruin the race for everyone else by trying to wreck people. :banghead2:

Please I feel like I'm on an island here. :)

I did come across a good group of guys last year on simracinghd.com last year to race with... There have several different series that they run.

Picked up the Ultimate edition a couple of days ago with all of the DLC. Forgot how great of a game this was. Gonna play this until gamefly steps up there act and effing sends me something..

Zach gamefly sucks buddy..I had it for several months but took forever at the end to get games...

Finished up season 6 today..very good game..only thing id change would be i'd do without so many cars for more tracks...started getting repetitive around season 5....

One thing I cant figure out is why everyone one tries to wreck and scratch up my beautiful car??:unsure::p

Nice car, I have got a few nice ones that I got some designs for. I still play this game a lot. Last night I raced my Audi #2 R1 car in an endurance race. Took me a little bit over an hour to finish but it was worth it with the money I won. Best racer I have played, even better than GT5 imo. Cant wait to see what they do with Forza 4
