I find it slightly amusing that some of our resident expert football scouts and prognosticators, are silent today.

On a side note, I think our team will be much much better in the weeks to come.

We should probably just ban anyone who makes predictions or promises that turn out to be less than true. Especially when they bask in their e-glory while doing so. I'm sure the op agrees

Come to think of it, I'm not really sure who the OP is talking about. I've seen most people post; granted there's a ton of spinning going on that I don't agree with all of, and some have said they were wrong, but I don't see a ton of people missing.

Dobbs struggled with checking down last night. He did it twice and the two times he did it they resulted in big gains. Debored called maybe 5-6 plays all night, they just lined up in different formations.... I say all that to say this; they did the same thing against north Texas, except north Texas was a much more inferior opponent. Notice Dobbs didn't run much and kamara didn't really touch the ball. I believe it will be different come next week.

U think it was focus or they just didn't want to show too much?

In my mind, they know better than to get on here until at least 2 days after a loss or a close win, as the negavols come out and eat the souls of the true vol fans.

I think after the muffed punt they lost focus and struggled getting up for appy state. Think about it, the biggest game in history of college football is next week, how can't that be in the back of your heads while your playing a team that dressed like bees. As for the offensive play calling, debored can't do that crap anymore. You gotta ball out. The defense was vanilla the first half but then showed up the second half.
