i enjoyed playing the one put out for the ps3 a few years ago but the downside was it was a few years old by the time i got my ps and having a new system like that isn't the best time to get hooked on a 2 year old game. i'm sure the fact of how much i enjoy f1 racing is why i want to play this but being a codemasters game can't be a bad thing. could be fun. maybe i need to go to lowes and get me a bunch of pvc and make a race car

i wouldn't get your hopes up too much. i ran a couple of default setting quick races and the brake assist is terrible, slows you down way too much. i do like that the controls aren't quite as touchy as a lot fo racing games to where if you just try to nudge it left or right to get to one side of the track on a straight it doesn't shoot you all the way to that side. in the two races with no qualifying it started me 10th both times and you cannot see the lights to know when to start, but i may be missing something on details that would make some of this easier. then again i'm all hopped up on meds it could just me be.

Did you try live yet? Curious as to how many you can get into one race. Also any comments on graphics, sounds, official licensing, you know cosmetic crap like that?

i have not tried live yet, i had a nap to take. i imagine you've played it by now but my thoughts are it looks nice, it plays pretty easy although i'm curious how different some things are in season, pit stops, pit strategy, tire wear and damage, compared to the quick play i tried. i may try it out some more tonight but it is getting close to time for another nap so who knows.

turning off the brake assist makes a huge difference and i think once you really learn the tracks and figure out your braking spots it could still be somewhat challenging. i also went into a race lobby and there were two other guys in there and one bailed right after i came in but i looks like you can have a full race but it will fill with computers if you don't have enough humans
