This made my day, thanks for posting.
Maybe Pruitt is the real deal?
Listening to them I think he has coaches here believing. That hasn't happened in a long long time. Well besides the payoff ****. But he seems to be doing the right thing and not full of ****. He was here with bama regularly. So he knows what a big deal this area means, especially instate

It is absolutely maddening to watch LSU, Florida and other teams play with stars on their squads from Tennessee. Makes me SICK

Seems that may be changing...but only time will tell. I wasn't a fan of Pruitt. As of Saturday I am convinced. That's just me. I had him wrong, he outsmarted Saban for the most part. But it will take a little time. But here's to being excited again.

One other thing, there are a lot of coaches who took advantage of these kids. Now there are coaches in the area who care about the kids and actually coach them up. SCS has done a good job with that. My son's school, Bellevue Middle, has won some crazy number of championships over the years and they have a kid, in middle school, who is 6'1" 226. IN MIDDLE SCHOOL!

Good to see you posting again. I was like you as well, I was sick to my stomach when they announced Pruitt as our new coach, worst birthday present I ever got, so I thought. Now I believe he will get us back. Eventually

Thank you. Honestly I just didn't get excited for football anymore so no need to post much. But I am glad to be excited again.

Getting a big win here in memphis is huge. We've had some teams where we got a few memphis guys here and there but if we can make a legit inroads on creating a real pipeline that will affect everything. I think some of the credit here should be shared between Barnes and Pruitt making serious effort to make inroads recruiting there. It will be interesting to see how recruiting out that way goes the next few years in FB and BB.

There is plenty of talent here. Barnes can get players Penny doesn't and they will be very good.

Yeah, but you guys seem to be forgetting that Jones pulled some in state talent as well.

Perhaps his biggest pull was drafted as a WR after many experts on here said he was too big for RB!

Always wondered how come Tennessee didn’t recruit more Alcoa Austin East Maryville players
Also knew that some of them had troubles with grades Ect

Jacob Phillips is the only one that hurts imo.
Van Jefferson?? Meh.
Jacoby Stevens? He's improving but I really like Tank Mcullogh!

Very excited about the Whitehaven trio.

He pulled middle Tennessee. I don't know much about the situation but he (Hurd) left. Ever wonder why he left?
