Just got a message for Former Vol Great Floyd Miley.....

I am working on a book that will discuss the game and other experiences at UT. I am using the game maxims and apply them to life. The book is called...Seven Laws to Recognize Your Greatness. It should be out before the orange and white game.

1991 Notre Dame hero...the kick is up, it's blocked. Miley gonna go. Now that was some good memories. Enrolled at UT. Great football times.

For all of you youngins out there you need to find a copy of this game and watch it. UT was getting their ass handed to them by ND. It was 31-7 and ND was attempting a FG to make it 34-7 at the half. The kick was blocked and Miley ran it back for a TD making it 31-14 at the half.

I'll never forget Majors being interviewed at halftime and the reporter asked what that score did for his team and he said something about how both teams had "double scores" on the scoreboard. Thought that was an interesting thought process on his part. I guess he was able to sell it to the team at halftime.

Unfortunately most of those were achieved during the VHS days. Hopefully we'll get the DVD's fired up again...SOON!

Very true, alot of the old film needs to be moved over to DVD so the youngsters can see more history. They only know the past 15 years or so, they can't help that.
