I'd like to know also. It may sound homer as hell, but I think a UT guy means much more coaching the Vols.

I mean it only worked for 100+ years.

Randy Sanders and Tee Martin, who just kicked our butts with a wide receiver at QB.

thats my thinking and regardless of what others think 2 former UT player/ coaches in Johnny Majors and Phil Fulmer rebuilt the pride of the vol fan and won a NC. Majors and Fulmer loved UT and it showed. Majors built the vols to be a national conterder 1986 the sugar vols defeating the favored Miami hurricanes coached by Jimmy Johnson. Fulmer 1998 13-0 record and a championship.

All those guys on one staff sounds good imo. Add Bill Bates for special teams coach. I would be for Chavis as head coach, but I will prob be flamed for that.

:eek:k: I can't believe you said Bill Bates I have thought he would be a great DC. honestly all day yesterday and today Bill Bates, Bill Bates. He was one of Majors players and a machine at Dallas.

Majors' player but as a walk on - not a recruit. Loved the Vols enough to earn his way as a walk on.
