Former Gator Kerwin Bill is lighting it up at Jacksonville University. Hey Gator fans -- here your new OC --- or HC.
............................................................................
"The JU football team scored in almost every way possible as they routed Valparaiso by posting several school records in an 86-7 win at Brown Field.

The 86 points is the most ever by a JU team, shattering the previous school record 55 set against UNC-Pembroke in 2007. The margin of victory shatters the previous record 52 set against Campbell in 2008.

Jacksonville led 66-7 at halftime, with a school-record 38 points in the second quarter. The offense account for just 42 of those points, aided by two interception returns for touchdowns and one blocked punt in the end zone.

The win is the fifth straight for JU, extending the winning streak to the second longest in school history.

“Everyone contributed to this win today,” said JU head coach Kerwin Bell. “Our defense made some big turnovers and scored. Our special teams got a score and our offense was able to move the ball consistently all day. We did a good job of executing throughout the game, which is something we stressed all week.”

The offense posted 658 yards, by far the most this season and setting a new program record total. The previous record was 621 set against Campbell in 2008. "
