Former coaches:

Don McLeary : He coached at several places but at one time he was the head coach at UT Martin.

Murray Warmath: Also from Humboldt, Tn. Played at UT under General Neyland. Coached at UT....Miss State....Army and was the head coach at Minnesota from 1954-1971. Won a national championship in 1960.

Houston Herndon: Lived most of his life in Humboldt, Tn. Played for Neyland on 3 undefeated teams of 1927, 28 and 29. He coached Humboldt high school and General Neyland helped him get the job in 1930.
