One of our all time greats Ellen Renfro has been named the Head Coach at Bethel University. She previously was assistant coach at Memphis. Always good to see our LVS for LIfe moving up the ranks in the profession!!!:):):)

She and Ivy both were absolutely incredible. I'm a little surprised she isn't still pitching in the pros somewhere. Anyway, one of my all-time faves. Ice water in her veins.

I don't think Ellen pitched any in the pros but Ivy played for Akron. Ivy was the volunteer assistant coach for pitching at Lipscomb. I think she is now at Lipscomb Academy as assistant coach for pitching.

Two former great LVs and dedicated Christian young ladies!:)

Memphis is like 15 minutes farther than McKenzie.

Google says 46. 4 miles Jackson to Mckenzie and 88.7 miles Mackenzie to Jackson. Mighty fast driving in 15 minutes. Memphis the crime capital of Tennessee is a far cry more of a disadvantage than Mckenzie. Maybe better for you but not this young lady and she is the head coach not the assistant. :thud:
