You guys may remember this turkey. After the incident, Tennessee told him that he could seek his entertainment elsewhere. What an Moridiot!

I correct myself, he was a 09 commitment. Can a mod help me out on the title?

Being involved in athletics is a privilege IMO. If he can prove to be a man and stay out of trouble, then let the man play.

Good. After he gets off probation and proves he's been a decent person in the community, then you give him the privilege of being able to play some type of organized sports.

I have always seen sports as a great outlet to keep kids off the street and teach them values that translate to life. I know the Boys Club helped keep me out of some trouble. He is a little older, but I think sports and the opportunity to better himself would only help him become a productive member of society.
