I think it is pretty clear now that Tennessee football is not in the upper elite of the SEC anymore, not even close. I love Tennessee, will be coming from Pennsylvania to see the Arkansas State game next week, but that is it, no more road trips for me until the University and the athletic department decides to reevaluate UT football. It is quite interesting to see what Bruce Pearl has done to make UT a premier basketball team in the SEC and what Fulmer has done to relegate UT along side Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. Mike --- I love how aggressive you were in choosing to turn around the UT basketball program by bringing in fresh blood, a charismatic coaching staff, a leader like Pearl, it is just a shame that the same desire is not their for football, the bread and butter of Tennessee athletics. Fulmer has given some sweet years to UT fans, a championship and some damn good season, but the SEC has moved passed Fulmer and it is time we make the necessary changes and refresh, rejuvenate and save Vols Football. It all starts with you Mike, it all starts with making the change that need to be made. Put your friendship aside and put UT first. You did it with basketball, now do it with football before we fall too far behind and recruiting starts to suffer.
