Forget going...Are you even watching today?

Watching with a bottle of Jack. Take a shot every time we fail to cross the 50 on offense. Without John Kelly I may have my work cut out for me.

Not sure me sitting in AZ watching UT is going to delay any change they're going to make so I'm watching and I'll be wearing my old VOLS hat and shirt.

This season sucks but I've been a VOLS fan for as long as I can remember in my 65 yrs. Butch isn't going to change that, that's bigger than Butch.

Not soon enough :cray:

So if you don't watch you aren't a Vol?

My wife is technically a "Vol" because she graduated from UT and enjoys going to games and all that. Nobody is here to define the meaning of VFL. But if you don't watch us play a conference game that will have direct impact on whether we do or do not go to a bowl game...then yeah! You probably aren't the biggest fan of Tennessee football, if that's the case. That's not an insult so don't take it personally, it's just the truth.

Watching our offense is a great cure for insomnia. That’s about the only good reason to watch anymore

I haven’t missed many games since the 70’s (in person, TV, or radio) but tonight I have other plans. I’m sure I’ll check the score and follow on my phone but I’m just not too excited to see this team play anymore

We decided NOT to go to Lexington today. Instead I will spend quality time doing other things.

Decided not to go to Tuscaloosa either and FORCED myself to not watch one snap on TV. Made myself leave the house.

I am continuing this trend today. Not only, not going, I'm not watching.

Going to games the last 34 years of my life I NEVER thought I would do this ever. I feel sorry for the players, but all I know to do as a consumer is not consume a product I'm not happy with. At all.

This isn't easy. In fact it sucks. It's painful to watch and almost more painful to not watch. Only because of my loyalty, dedication, money, time and effort. UT football is a way of life (used to be).

I stuck it out and suffered through the Dooley years. I never thought it would ever be this bad again. It's bad. It's sad. THERE IS NEARLY COMPLETE APATHY RUNNING THROUGH THE FAN BASE.

You are not the majority. Many suffer thru the losses just to have the chance of celebrating a win.

How many went to the Sugar Bowl when we beat Miami knowing we would win?

How many were glad they were there?

How many wish they were there.

Ky is such an inferior football program. They ran off Bear. That's why we discount this game. What does it mean to beat Ky? Nothing except bragging rights. They can't brag they beat us(Nobody brags about beating them.).

121, go win the game.

Stopped watching around the 3rd quarter of the Umass game and haven't watch since then. I do plan on watching tonight though.

Why haven't you just been a life long Vandie fan then if you like watching teams lose week in and week out. You people kill me. You're okay with this? I'm fine, I'm doing productive things with my time. Instead of supporting a loser....Butch Jones.....

Because unlike YOU and all of the other whiners, my self worth is not wrapped up in how a bunch of random college kids play football. I root for the Vols but it doesn't ruin my day.I'd bet you have never played in a sporting event where your didn't get dressed for it at home!

Do some of you ever go back and read your posts. What a miserable bunch of losers. Just to irritate y'all, I hope Tennessee wins out and Butch gets an extension and a raise.

I really don't get not watching. It's the ****ing Vols

If one does not want to go in an act of expression of discontent with the program to get results that is one thing. They have no idea who is watching or who is not.

I will be planted right in front of the TV watching what will most likely be one of if not the last game of the Cliche Jones era.

I'll always watch. My World Series tickets for tonight will force me to watch the second half on my phone though. Go 'Stros.

A lot of out of town family coming in for a party at my house tonight. Won't have the game on but might check the score.

I don't see how anyone can call themselves a true VOL fan if they can just turn it on and off due to anger. I'm not happy with the way things are going this year but I'll never abandon the team.

True fans are with you through thick and thin.

Looking at UF boards, not sure who is more "OK" with a loss today, UT or UF...because of hopeful cementing coaching change. I'm never OK with a UT loss. I think win or lose, dye is cast for Butch, whether he goes after KY or longer. I DO think that if UF loses big, it will put more pressure on UT officials to act quickly, for fear of losing whoever our top target is to UF...book it.

Of course I’m watching. Want to watch the boys play and do well. Will always watch the Vols no matter who the coach is.
