If we have any chance of pulling this upset this weekend we have to play way better in the secondary we all know how dangerous Arky is in their passing game and also we have to TACKLE their receivers or they will kill us with yac.Our offense needs to step up and control the t.o.p to limit Arkys offensive possessions and to do that yes we are gonna have to have a run game.This weekend is gonna be a tough one boys but as always GO VOLS!!!!!!!!

if by some miracle we can establish a running game Saturday and have some long drawn out drives and come away with points on these drives I think we can keep it close enough to win going into the 4th

I think we would have to score at somepoint this year in the second half to win one in the fourth....ARK is a second half team. They typically "wake up" in the second half and score the majority of their points. That being said...we can still go get the win GBO!!

We haven't beat noone of relevance this year this win could do loads for the program.
p.s Cincinnati doesnt count lol

I think we should try to establish the running game. When that fails, we should try to establish the running game.

I just really think we don't match up well with Ark. this year We haven't shown we can score in the second half in recent games and UA lights it up. That being said, they can be beaten, and Vandy almost pulled it off. We have a chance.....maybe one in a million.

Lol why not post about the subject instead of being a douchebag? but anyway yea go ahead and count the win over power house uc as a relevant win shows how low the standards are at ut now counting wins against big east teams as signature wins.

Nobody called it a signature win...

I think anyone who follows the vols would agree that any win this season is a big win.

Pressure up front helps the DB's...since our sacks and rushes are down...it tend to lead that we have issues with the DB's....count the seconds from when the ball is snapped...but Im sure our DB's need to play better...

I meant to say relevant win. A relevant win is one that every1 notices not just vol fans, beating uc proves nothing beating a sec opponent means alot.

I feel very confident that our defense will have a good enough plan and will execute it to give us a great shot at a win. The question is on the other side of the ball. I just don't understand the negativity shown toward our defense!

we must do something we havent done in big games this year very well, force turnovers. and by turnovers i dont mean 1 pick on the first drive in the game..

For Tennessee to win.... They have to get a lot of breaks and play pretty much perfectly. Control the clock and keep that offense off the field. This is where a strong run game would be handy, except Tennessee doesn't have one. I just don't see it, they're another team on a different level than we are right now. The long year continues.

I think we match up against Arky worse than any team we face. They look to have awaken in the 1st half last week against USC.
This could be a very long night for our beloved Vols. I hope I'm wrong.

Don't you guys know that we've been hiding our blitzing and interception skills until this game? Don't you understand that we've been holding back our running game so we can unleash it in a sneak attack this Saturday? CDD is a sneaky fellow.
