My second favorite college football team, Wyoming, put a real hurting on Georgia State 38-17 in the Arizona Bowl New Year's Eve, and the score does not represent how badly they were beaten. Our grandson is a Senior at UW driving all the way from Signal Mountain, TN to Laramie to attend college. Our grandson is a huge Vols fan (even sitting in the rain at the Vandy Game when on Thanksgiving break), and we were somewhat surprised when he decided to attend school in Laramie.
Go Vols-Beat Indiana tonight!!

I was born in Wyoming, graduated from UW, but grew up in Knoxville and bleed orange. For people who love the outdoors, and don’t care for crowds, there is no better place to go to college. It’s been fun to watch the Wyoming program grow under Craig Bohl. He’s got a knack for finding dynamic QBs and coaching them up! I also felt like it was a little payback when the Pokes beat up GaSt the other day! But really I couldn’t help thinking the Vols now would destroy both teams. Let’s finish strong and whoop the Hoosiers tonight!!!! GBO!

For real; he is hunting and fishing every chance he has and loves it!

I was stationed at F.E. Warren in Cheyenne for 5 1/2 years. We used to go to Laramie occasionally for a party at that school. And trust me, when you say people who love outdoors, you should clarify, lol. There is nothing but outdoors in Wyoming. The joke when I was there was the best thing to come out of Wyoming is I-25. And the winters out there are just brutal. There are two seasons, August, and winter. LOL I was so happy when I switched to the Air Guard in Knoxville after the Gulf war. It was nice to be back among people and trees. I imagine growing up there is different, but coming from the southeast. Yipe.

Luckily for him, he gets a winter vacation running from middle of December to the end of January. And he loves to snow ski; so, where there is no hunting or fishing season, it's time to go skiing!

Just shows what a fluke win it was for GA State. Most pathetic part was their coach saying they had played teams far better than the Vols to attempt to rub it in. Can't take any team for granted. On any given Saturday......……

Well, they got destroyed by a "Far better Team" LOL
38-17 and Wyoming was getting ready to score again at the end of game and took a knee.

So does that fact that Wyoming (a historically bad team) Beat GA St. Does that loss move up the charts of worst UT losses ever??

The announcers said Georgia St should be proud because they got a win against a good team in Tennessee. That made me happy about the turn around.

Wyoming, with it's current Coach Craig Bohl has had its program turned around into winning seasons. The quarterback they played in the bowl game experienced his first collegiate start since the regular quarterback had been injured. Wyoming had a first round draft pick with their quarterback Josh Allen a couple years ago.

Some here may not remember we used to play Wyoming and lost to them the last time we played.

My oldest daughter is in the Air Force, and we drove from Georgia to Idaho in june to see her. I love road trips, and going through Wyoming was our favorite part. It's beautiful.
