The atmosphere in Memphis was unbelievable. Before the game Coach Pearl came by Jillians to greet the the fans. The alumni group in Memphis does a GREAT job. They did before the Football game there a couple years ago and last night was great as well. There were a TON of UT fans on the street who could not get tickets and they filled the bars. As you saw on TV we were vastly outnumbered in the arena but the fans that were there were great. I was totally blown away by the whole experience. When CBP talked to the fans at Jillians he stated that "God willing in just a little bit we're gonna kick Memphis' ass!" the crowd went nuts and he then went into "It's great to be a Tennessee VOL". He also gave a lot of credit to the fans and thanked everyone, high fived so many people so hard I thought he was gonna hurt himself. It was a night that ranks as high as any sporting event I have ever been to.
