Jake, what was the mood of the crowd today? In Majors' time, the stadium would be full, but they'd let him know if they weren't happy. To paraphrase one sportswriter when his Vols were struggling against a Troy-like team, "they booed Majors, they booed the team, they booed the national anthem."
I guess the point is, Hart as AD can ignore a lot of problems. But he cannot ignore a half-empty Neyland Stadium. Nor can he ignore fans unhappy with the Vols' performance and venting their frustration in the time-honored fashion.
1. No way I was sitting next to 84000 ppl.
2. As of this week, they accept cash only at all of the venders...
Huge let down for my son's first game, took me 20 mins to find a cash machine so he could get a neyland hotdog!
But an exciting game, I had a good time. I could play QB for Troy today, I think.
People spend years of money, time, and devotion to expect more from the 2nd winningest program in SEC football history. It doesn't excuse him for being a jerk but don't call him fair weather bro. If he actually showed up there he justlike feels cheated by Dooley for this waste of a coaching disaster he is putting on the field.
