and believe he deserves another year, I have a sincere question to ask and it is this:

If Tennessee loses to Kentucky again this year, will you still think he deserves another year?

I know this may seem like a retread of other threads, but I am being specific about one game. Let's say there is no Gruden talk and Tennessee wins out the rest of the year but loses to Kentucky again. Will you be willing to give him another shot in 2013?

I'll hang up and listen.

I added an anonymous poll for those who want to answer and avoid a lengthy argument.

With the points we've racked up against ranked teams, there'd be NO excuse for losing to KY. Looking at the scores, their defense isn't stopping anyone from scoring. I hope I don't regret saying this, but yes, I would change my mind about thinking he deserves one more year. But I seriously doubt it'll happen.

And just FYI, I'm a sunshine pumper now, but IF he is given one more year--if--and fails to get something done next year, I'll agree that he isn't the man for the job. I just still think he needs that one more year.

Fair enough, thanks for the answer.

It will be much harder for him to get something done next year than this year. The only more favorable game is auburn replaces miss st. We could be in for a long long season if things don't change

We had more than 19 people dressed and in pads last year.. That alone should have meant we could beat UK.

How could Dooley have kept all of our great talented players from beating Kentucky last year? Wonder what he said to them to encourage such a strong and dominate performance? Maybe if he is fired today then he can recount that speech for us.

The schedule is not an excuse for the new coach either. That is why we fired Dooley. To get someone who could beat the schedule we face yearly. Which will always include UF, UA, UGA & South Carolina in the first half. That is the toughest SEC schedule by far. The years where we add an LSU or aTm to that are going to be just brutal. Come on down Chucky. Show us what you got.

Man we Fixin beat these next four like a Hebrew slave and get to a bowl. He will be our coach in 2013. We will not lose to Ky, good lord we're at home!! And we have 10 times the talent and we are playing as a unit!! No selfishness like it was last yrs ky game.

Are you saying, If Dooley wins against Kentucky another year is ok?
What about all those losses to the teams in the top 15? If you are going to hang the guy, put one of those on him!

So far there's 10 members of his family that have voted no, surely none of those votes came from TENNESSEE fans...

They are some that wouldn't care if we never won another game. They will be happy with Dooley while Kentucky and Vandy laugh . This defensive coaching on this team and motivation from Dooley is embarrassing. To have missed on 20 DB prospects is embarrassing. They don't have 2 guys on the team that could cover most grandmas! They will cry Look at the mess, he needs time, It takes about one off season to tell we are not a well coached Team! These idiots have no clue what disciplined football looks like!

Thats the problem, These guys are not football fans They are Dooley fans and for the Life of me he has not given us one thing to be excited about. Same ole song and dance against any half way decent team.

What good is one more year going to do? Nothing but let us spin our tires in the mud for another year. He will have a tougher schedule and a less talented roster...what POSSIBLE good would another year do?
