Last year was rough, but did any of you skip out on any of the last few games? I'm not trying to judge anyone, just wondering if the average fan stays at home when times are tough. I don't know about you guys, but I don't care if we are 0 and 9 or 9 and 0, I will be there come Saturday.

Last year was one of two years I haven't been to at least one Vol game since I was like 7. And it wasn't intentional just because of the season we were having, it just happened like that. The only other year I've missed seeing a team play in person was the national championship year. yeah......

My family has had season tickets since I was born. I've only missed 2 or 3 games ever. I went to every one in 2005 and 2008.

I went to all the home games and 3 away games. If you drink enough, it's tolerable.

Went to every home game except the one we gave our tickets to step-son and his wife. I see every game as a chance to win, no matter how small that chance might be. Couldn't make it through the season otherwise.

I only went to 2 games last year, they were the Northern Illinois & Kentucky games.

Season tickets 98,99 Live 3 hours away, attended all games 98, slacked off 99, never had season tickets again. Maybe one day, but I choose to take my three sons (and then some) and the $ is all on me, so I pick and choose wisely these days. Last time I think I bought 6 tickets, then room, then gas, then meals, etc, Not so bad if a winner is on the field but of late...................well, you know.Actually turned down a lot of free tickets to games over the last few years I think that pipeline is gone now though.

Every home game except Northern Illinois.

UCLA and Auburn (worst college football game I have ever attended) away games.

From another broke college kid:

I went to every home game except Alabama (I was out of town, sadly) and I went to the South Carolina game.

They priced me out of contention for tickets years ago plus I have a bum leg and can't walk very far or stand the entire game. It's just too painful and costly to go anymore. Very sad since I am an alumnus and always have been a big UT fan.

I went to the 2003 Peach Bowl vs. Clemson and sat in the Clemson section. What a painful night. It was far easier for me to get Clemson tickets than from my own school.

I was only able to make it to Florida and Kentucky this year since I no longer live in Knoxville. Maybe that was just as well.

I live in Nashville and affording to come to games isn't really an issue for me. I have a free place to stay, and we usually join the Vol Navy, so games are a lot of fun. But last year I left before the Florida game ended and said I wouldn't be back until changes were made. Unlike one of the previous posters, I found I could not drink enough to make it tolerable. I'm glad I didn't have to wait too long to come back. Will be there for WKU.
