Fans can say whatever they want. If they are still fans they are the most loyal ppl on earth. Unless they are just blind, like you or other morons who wanted to keep Dooley and Jones.
Keep Pruitt, for now. If I EVER see anything remotely like that again, that hot seat will burn his ass so bad, he won't even be able to take a crap back home in Alabama.

We just lost to Georgia State who arguably was the worst team in the FBS last season. The loss is inexcusable.

Beat Auburn and Kentucky and lost to Vandy, SC, and Missouri.

We are now the new Vanderbilt of the SEC.

Stop being a coach fan and become a fan of the University of Tennessee.

You mean a power 5 team that is 0-1 that lost to a sun belt team that is 1-0. Last year record holds no water for this year bc if that the case then we would have won on that merit alone.

I’m not in the fire Pruitt camp, however I do reserved the right to bring up this loss in a year or two as justification for his firing if things aren’t working out by then.

We sure acted like that should have been the case. There is no way that Georgia State should be 1-0 against us. But it happened. Don't give me "that was last year's" BS. It's the Sunbelt vs the SEC, they were 26 point dogs. Come on, man!

3 consecutive bad games. Getting blown out by Mizzoo and Vandy at the end of the season were indicators that CJP was in over his head. Getting beaten by a bottom feeder in the Sun Belt conference is simply another data point proving this hypothesis.

We are being laughed due to ineptitude from the President's office to the assembled coaching staffs.

One bad game? What do you consider the Alabama game last year? What you consider the Florida game last year? What do you consider the Vanderbilt game? The Missouri game, what about losing to the worst FBS School this year oh, a school that's only had a football program for 10 years? And you dare blame the fans for this? So your definition of a fan is 2 support a losing mentality? Keep a coach at all cost whether they're a successful or not? Give me a break!

Fire him and hire who? add more years to rebuild? Yea, Saturdays loss was pretty bad, but im not writing him off that easily. I mean you never lose to an FCS Team on a home opener until you do. It happens. Just sucks it seems to always happen to this University and fanbase. We have put up with alot of stink the last decade. Pruitt is a 2nd year head coach. Hes still learning on the job. NOT giving him excuses just helping with perspective. What happens this saturday will say alot about what this team is made of. We either find some heart and blow them out. or throw in the towel 2nd game of the season.

First game went as bad as possible. It’s hard to imagine a worse performance, and as Tennessee fans, we’ve seen some stinkers over the past decade. This may be the worst, but the season is very young. Our team is very young as well, and good coaches fix mistakes and make huge improvements between week 1 and week 2. I’m going to reserve major judgment on this team and this staff until I’ve seen at least one more example of the product on the field.

I’m not for firing Pruitt right now, but I doubt he’s here in two years. The next poorly evaluated coach will probably catch less flack for bad losses because less people will care. The support vs production for this program is very one sided, but that will eventually even out... and probably not because of higher production

I thought Leach would have been entertaining and brought fun to Neyland. I had no illusions of championships with Leach, but assumed the pirate Vol Navy and offensive show would have been exciting. Boy do I wish I'd got to see that....

Why waste time? **** Can him now, tell all the Tweeting losers on the team to **** Off and "YOU'RE OUT!", and take your time convincing boosters that you need the dough to hire a REAL football coach. Its NOT rocket science. This year be damned.

That’s right because so many of the top programs fire coaches every 4 years. Many coaches respect Pruitts ability. You must be a coaching guru yourself to call him out like that! If the year ends up awful, let him go. All the complaints after one game though are just stupid and pointless. Let it play out and see if you have a reason to bitch and moan. He may win three in a row here and everyone will feel better.

Yeah, that gets mentioned a lot... but of course, that was season one during his tenure at Alabama in 2007. Alabama went to the SEC Championship Game and then the Sugar Bowl in his second season a year later.
