For those expecting a win

Just didn't expect us to lose because we played the worst game of the year. Id be ok if Georgia was just the better team. They aren't. Tennessee had played like garbage.

Wish I could agree with you. Yes, we gave them a lot of opportunities, but they were men among boys today.

This was an average UGa team and this game was winnable. Chaney's game plan was awful. No running game. JG looks terrible and they keep trotting his sorry butt out there. Defense was average at best.

Pruitt has to do better or he can hit the road with JG.
JG can be that rare player who gets two coaches fired, so kudos to him

Defense played well enough to win. The irony is I thought they might be our weakness.

Second drive, they gashed us all the way down the field. Let a walk-on QB pick is apart at times. Still had too many missed tackles, busts, etc. Yeah, they were out there too long and out in negative field position by the offense...but it wasn't a good night for the D.

They were better than the offense but that's not saying much.

Okay, I admit it. We just suck. Happy now?

I know the Georgia Bulldogs are a great team which is a main reason why they had a FPI 88 percent chance to win.

Astronomically disappointing that the talented Volunteers played a good effective 1st half because they did lead the great Bulldogs 21-17 at halftime, and had an amazing goal line stand which is why the Volunteers defense amazed me.

In the 2nd half with excellent adjustments the Georgia Bulldogs hugely outplayed the Volunteers in a game that went from bad to abysmal including they outscored them 27-0.

The Volunteers didn’t play a full great game, they made great mistakes in the 2nd Half , and were utterly disappointing to watch in the 2nd half with anything good happening in garage time.

This was vastly worse than the 2019 Alabama fiasco because the Volunteers lead 21-17 at halftime, the game was watchable for 3 quarters, they were shutout in the 2nd half, and when needed most the Volunteers couldn’t run the football 2nd half, and anything that could go wrong in the 2nd half did go wrong.

I know the 2020 Volunteers are not a great team except them winning this game wasn’t delusional because in the 1st half the Volunteers weren’t self destructing, they made more great plays than the Georgia Bulldogs including that amazing goal line stand, and the offense was effective because 2 great throws by Guarantano for the 2 throwing touchdowns.

They didn't suck, but I think some, in looking for any bright spot today, is over valuing the defensive performance. They had their moments and were put in some tough spots.

I'd give them a C.

And they could have just easily quit late in that game so I’m happy they did get the turnover even with being late in garbage time, they didn’t quit even when they could have easily quit when the game became 37-21, and the utterly discouraging also abysmal 44-21.

Also the defense was the main reason why the Volunteers lead 21-17 at halftime including ah amazing goal line stand, and they couldn’t defend short fields in 2nd half because of great gift turnovers.
All reasons why I’ll say the Volunteers defense is a shining bright spot in this colossal embarrassment because of the 2nd half Meltdown.

If a team can’t make great adjustments at halftime and play a full great game than they won’t defeat a great undefeated team.
I’m confident the Volunteers learn from this fiasco and show they are a resilient tough as a tank team because of winning 7 games possibly 8, and Guarantano also Pruitt both get a great signature win.

We apparently thought we won the game at halftime.

I really didn’t and why I didn’t because I said the Volunteers in my detailed game prediction they had to play a full great game and they did that only for the 1st half because they lead 21-17, the defense had a great goal line stand to the 1st half, and the Volunteers offense did score 14 points.

The Volunteers in the 2nd half didn’t make great adjustments and the Georgia Bulldogs did because they scored 27 unanswered points, forced turnovers that they benefited from by scoring points including returned a fumble for a td, and they forced Guarantano has to move the football mainly for the Volunteers to win the game which hugely failed.
Also the Volunteers couldn’t run the football which was a glaring flaw for the 2nd half.

Wrong. I'm sorry but UGA is FAR superior. Look at that D.They let JUSTIN FIELDS WALK. Big mistake. But their staring QB opted out 2 weeks before the season. Bennett just knows the system. When a better QB comes in, this yr or next, UGA could beat Bama. Possibly take it to Clemson

Bama destroyed UGA. They are not as close as you think. Also, if I am not mistaken Bama is playing quite a few young guys in defense. I don’t see UGA beating Bama anytime soon.

That goes for the rest of the SEC.

Bama is far superior to UGA at QB, otherwise they are comparable talent wise. As we know, QB matters quite a bit in today's game.
