We are going into spring practice having had a coaching staff in place for two years in a row. It has to help the kids' psyche knowing there will be continuity for them, finally. We'll see if that pays dividends come September.

I think we will be considerably better on offense if Bray can keep his head straight and get some chemistry with his new recievers!:loco:

For the few upperclassman that we have, this is probably true. But for the majority of this team, it's the only college coaching staff that they have ever known. I would agree that this is much less of an issue this year than in years past.

Wasn't it four years ago? '07 we had the HC, OC and DC from the previous year. We didn't in '08, '09, '10.

Great Observation. I also hope that we see the difference on the field this fall.

Depends on how you define "coaching staff." If you define it as "HC, OC, and DC," it's the first time in four years. We broke in a new OC in 2008 (which I don't like to remind myself).

Who, chuck sheen? I think that adds to the stability, by eliminating an unstable person

I was about to post the same thing.

So long guy. Smith and Miller were going to be monsters with or without ya.

Based on the emotional abuse our fanbase has received the last four years I am not counting my chickens. It won't surprise me if we hear word before opening game that LA Tech has reacquired CDD from under our noses.....geez, it's been a rough four years.

Wow - that is amazing. After stability for a long time, the program has had some turmoil. Hopefully the stability will pay off with more W's.

I wish Hamilton and Dooley could figure out if they really like the staff and want to have them in 2012 and beyond give them a raise now with a big buyout. Where would we be if Chaney or Wilcox went to Texas?
